Bethune observes October as Alpha Delta Kappa

Bethune Town Council unanimously proclaimed October as International Alpha Delta Kappa Month. Council also used the meeting to discuss the need for a message board along with areas in town that needed to be cleaned.

Council also unanimously approved its financial statements.

Mayor pro tem Joe Casey presided in place of Mayor Carlisle Davis who was hospitalized at the time. Other members of town council, all of whom were in attendance, are Beverly Farmer, Gayle Beasley and Jimmy Steen.

Bethune Town Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at Bethune Town Hall, 101 Elm St., Bethune. All meetings are open to the public.
