Top notch military

Sgt. Julius A. Goodwin, a native of Camden and a health care specialist squad leader with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, and Spc. Matthew M. Ells, a Seattle native and an unmanned aircraft systems repairer with Company B, 4-3 Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th IBCT, stand in front of the “Vanguard” brigade’s combined brigade and battalion headquarters building after winning the Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and the Soldier of the Quarter boards, respectively, in October. The two soldiers will compete against other brigade-level board winners in the division’s upcoming board.
