Richard and Donna Godwin of Cumming, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Amy Michelle Godwin of Camden, to Casey Lee Faulkenberry, also of Camden. He is the son of Ms. Laura Bowers Horton of Camden and Mr. and Mrs. Furman Faulkenberry of Lugoff.

The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned a bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and is employed with KershawHealth.

The groom-elect graduated from Newberry College with a Bachelor’s in History with a minor in Education. He is employed at Camden High School.

The wedding is planned for December 17, 2011, at Joy Lutheran Church in Duncan, S.C.
