Funeral service to celebrate the life of Otis Hilton Canady, 88 of Camden will be held Wednesday at 11:30AM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Scott Crandall will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:30 AM at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mr. Canady’s memory to Faith Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, P. O. Box 453, Lugoff, SC 29078.

Mr. Canady died Monday, November 21, 2011. Born in Soperton, GA, he was the son of the late Leon David and Eva Foskey Canady. He was a WWII United States Navy veteran. He was retired from DuPont.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Patsy Drake Canady; daughters, Linda Marie Reynolds (Robert) of Cassatt, Sharie C. James (Chuck) of Camden; son Larry G. Canady of Camden; grandchildren, Warren Talley of Taylors, Coleman James, William James of Harrodsburg, KY; sisters, Mary Lou Branham of Columbia and Doris Smith of Waynesboro, GA. He was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Pullen.
