SCWA Greater Wateree Chapter to hold dinner/auction on Dec. 8

The Greater Wateree Chapter of the South Carolina Waterfowl Association will hold its annual Conservation Dinner and Auction on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Camden Shrine Club, located off Highway 521 North in Camden.

Proceeds from the event will go toward Camp Woodie, an International Youth Waterfowl education Center which provides the ultimate wildlife camp experience for boys and girls who like the "wild" side of life. In addition, a summer program is also scheduled for the Kershaw County area for young hunter education and underprivileged children.

Tickets are $35 per individual and $55 per couple. Sponsorships are available for $250. Tickets may be purchased at Brent Shirley’s Taxidermy/Signs by Colt Shirley on Highway 521 South in Camden.
