The Family Resource Center (FRC) announced applications are being accepted until December 21, 2011 for volunteer Board of Directors positions.

The Family Resource Center, a non-profit organization, is a rape crisis and children’s advocacy center serving the community since 1985. FRC is excited to have recently added teen pregnancy prevention programming as one of the valuable services being offered to the community.

“We are looking for community members who are passionate about ending teen pregnancy, as well as ending abuse and violence, in the lives of children and adults. We need individuals who are looking for ways they can help us promote peace in families and our communities; will commit to serve; and are looking for a way to affect societal change.” said the Center’s Executive Director, Rosalyn Moses.

While some background knowledge in the area of victims/social services is favorable, it is not required. FRC encourages those with diverse professional, educational, and social backgrounds to consider applying.

All prospective Board members must complete the Board Member Application which can be found on our website, pass a criminal background check, be at least 21years of age, and have exceptional references.
For an application or more information on requirements for Board Members contact the Executive Director, Rosalyn Moses at 803-425-4357 or
