Carolina Motorsports Park in Westville is hosting a Coke Family Festival on Saturday.

The gates to the facility open at 8 a.m. and the fun continues through 5 p.m.

The event will feature the 2011 Impala Coca-Cola NASCAR show car, built by Richard Petty Racing and signed by Richard Petty himself. This is a great opportunity to see a NASCAR car up close and take pictures. Also on hand will be the Coca-Cola video game trailer, featuring five, 40-inch screens and Play Stations, for hours of video game fun.

In addition to the Coke Family Festival, Carolina Motorsports Park is also hosting the final round of the Powerade Karting Championship, featuring drivers from the Red Bull Kart Fight in Orlando, Fla., and other up-and-coming future NASCAR drivers. The points championships will be decided by this race, so there should be plenty of high speed action.

Also taking place is a Pro-Clone Money Race, which is still open for registration until the morning of the race. There will also be all different types of race cars on the main track to see and enjoy as spectators can watch drivers take on the 2.2-mile, 14-turn road course.

This event is free and open to the public.

Carolina Motorsports Park is located along Highway 521 North, some 17 miles from downtown Camden.
