Funeral service for Ralph C. “Butch” McLeod, Jr., 59, of Lugoff, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in St. United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Crandall and the Rev. Mark Hopkins will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff.  Memorials may be made to Hermitage Baptist Church Youth Department.

Butch McLeod died Sunday, December 11, 2011. Born in Andrews, he was a son of the late Ralph C. McLeod Sr. and Elise Brown McLeod.He served in the United States Navy and was currently employed with Cogdill Tool. He was a Mason and Shriner and a member of Kershaw 29 and the American Legion. He was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church of Camden.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Goff McLeod; sons, Jon Dowdy of Seattle, Wash., Ralph C. McLeod III of Camden, and Josh McLeod (Jessica) of Camden; daughter, Cassie Grace McLeod of Camden; brothers, Paul F. McLeod and Donald Gene McLeod; sister, Cathi McLeod McClary; grandchildren, Kasper McLeod, Daniel Dowdy, Wayde Dowdy, Jonathan Dowdy, and Lucas Dowdy; and a great-grandson, Mason.
