K of C to host free throw competition

All Kershaw County boys and girls, ages 10 to 14, are invited to participate in the 2012 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shootout.
The annual competition will be held on Saturday, Jan. 7   at 1 p.m. and will take place inside Camden’s E. Clarkson Rhame City Arena.
The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for practice and registration. The local winners progress through regional and state competition. Scores from state competitions are used to determine international champions.
There is no entry fee and age eligibility is based on their age as of Jan 1, 2012.
Entry forms are available at the Kershaw County Recreation Department. Contestants may register the day of the event. A parents’ signature is required.
