It’s time for the Halloween edition of Finally Friday free outdoor concert series at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC). This month the Rusty Davis Band will take the stage for this special edition of Finally Friday. Along with the concert, there will be a special “trunk r’ treat” competition, face painting, and costume contests for both children and adults. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes in several categories as well as for best decorated trunk. The fun begins at 6 p.m., Friday behind the Wood Auditorium stage.

“This event has become a Camden tradition, and a great way to enjoy Halloween festivities,” said Jane Peterson, FAC director of marketing. “We encourage everyone -- young and old alike -- to come on out in their favorite costume, embellish their trunks with Halloween decorations and candy and have a great time.”

Rusty Davis and Leo Price play guitar and sing, Paul Russo is playing bass, and David Middleton is on drums.
The Finally Friday series is sponsored by Atlas Gym, NBSC, TruVista, State Farm Insurance/Chuck Nash and Graham Realty, with special sponsorship of the Halloween event provided by the Camden Kiwanis Club.

The outdoor concert series provides a casual family atmosphere in which to enjoy a variety of live musical styles.  Admission is free to the public and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please leave coolers at home!

The Finally Friday concert series was started in July 2006 as a casual outdoor event where friends and family could unwind while listening to some of the best bands in the area. Modeled after other successful free concert events around the state, Finally Friday is produced by local musician and sound technician Kevin Taylor, a 1991 graduate of Full Sale in Florida and former sound engineer for country music star Vince Gill for almost 10 years.
