Lavetta Munn Eubanks

Lavetta Munn Eubanks, of Jefferson, SC, passed away on December 26, 2011. Born on October 1, 1923 the daughter of the late Daniel Alexander and Effie Newman Munn. She was married to the late William Adam Eubanks for 63 years. She lived in Camden from 1957 until she retired to the family farm in Jefferson in 1982. Miss Vette was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and canning and freezing the fruits of their garden.  She took great joy in caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Fork Creek Methodist Church.

She was predeceased by her sisters Earline Hunter, Elizabeth Campbell and Edith Middleton. She was survived by her children W.L. Buster Eubanks (Connie) of Jefferson, SC, Marsha Cauthen (Kenneth) of Lancaster, SC, Timmy Eubanks (Cheryl) of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Robin Eubanks, Kristy Bartlett, Randy Walters II, Hannah Walters, Timothy Kevin “T.J.” Eubanks, Travis Eubanks, Bayleigh Eubanks; great-grandchildren, Jordan Craven, Riley Bartlett, Jameson Bartlett, Brittany Walters, Haley Hegler, Ashton Hegler, Alyssa Ann Crawford, Gabriella Walters and Noah Cagle; cargiver, Shelia Oliver of Jefferson, SC.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at their home.

Special Thanks to Morrell’s Nursing Home of Hartsville, SC for the loving and compassionate care that was given during her stay.
