J. Lee Frost

A celebration of life service for J. Lee Frost, 55, of Camden, will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Hermitage Baptist Church with burial to follow at Malvern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.Rev. Mark Hopkins will officiate. The family received friends Tuesday January 3, 2012 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mr. Frost's memory to the Arise and Build Fund, c/o Hermitage Baptist Church, 814 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, SC 29020.

Mr. Frost, husband of Glenda Godwin Frost died Sunday, January 1, 2012. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Charlie Lee and Eugenia Johnson Frost. Mr. Frost was co-owner of Godwin Carpet and Floor Covering. He was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church, where he was the current chairman of the deacons, was a very active and faithful church member having served on numerous committees through the years. Mr. Frost was an avid hunter, Nascar and sports fan, Lee was a wonderful husband, father and "Papa."

Surviving are his wife, Glenda Godwin Frost, three daughters and son-in-laws, Kelly and Scott Keeler of Simpsonville, Jessica and Glen Clyburn of Kershaw, Rebecaa and Dan Graham of Camden; grandchildren, Hank keeler, Pierce, Avery and Carson Clyburn, McKinley McCaskill and Reid Graham; sisters Elaine (Buddy) Hyatt of Grayson, GA, Joann (Wade) Rush of Camden; brothers, Alvin (Gwen) Rogers of Hartsville and Carroll Rogers of Myrtle Beach; father and mother-in-law, Cleatus and Bonnie Godwin and many nieces and nephews.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel is in charge.
