Save for the use of a magic wand, there was no way for Lugoff-Elgin girls’ basketball coach Von Duncan to turn her 5-foot-8 center, Nakeisha Counts, into a 6-foot-5 post player. Nor was there some potion which could transform her other players to become taller or faster with one sip of the elixir.
