Public NPS meetings scheduled for Tuesday

Proposed Southern Campaign area fails to meet all criteria

A proposed Southern Campaign of the Revolution National Heritage Area (NHA) did not meet National Park Service (NPS) criteria necessary to receive the designation, according to a draft of a suitability/feasibility study published in November. Public meetings are scheduled for 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert Mills Courthouse on South Broad Street to discuss the draft study.
