‘Speed booking’

Sixth-grade students at Lugoff-Elgin Middle School -- including Tyesha Jett, Katelyn Vandevander, Brandon Phillips, Justin Dorton,Otensia Anderson, Turner Stockman, Camille Sullivan, Autum Walker-Cornell, Zac Branham, Elizabeth Talbert, Jay Lynch, Caitlyn Simon, Caden Britton and Greta Tautkus -- participated in "speed booking" during their lunch period. The event was coordinated by Jennifer Lanier, a University of South Carolina intern under the supervision of Anne Lemieux. Students were given 30 seconds to "sell" their book to the student across from them and then they rotated.
