Funeral service to honor the life of Wilson Leroy King, 84, of Camden will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made in Mr. King’s memory to Kershaw Health Hospice, 1315 Roberts Street, Camden, SC 29020

Mr. King, husband of Carol Ann Schwarzentruber King, died Monday, January 30, 2012. He was born in Swansea, SC. He was the son of the late Jefferson David and Sarah Idella Lovell King. Mr. King was a US Marine WWII Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children; Wilson Leroy King, Jr (Sherry) of Lancaster, Mardel Jackie King of Camden, Terry Kendrick of Tupelo, MS., Dale King of Lancaster, Alissa McClure (Nick) of Katy, TX, Paul Schertz (Kali) of Laurel, MD., Jarom Schertz (Kristy) of Lugoff, Hilary Thomas (Kevin) of Rock Hill; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Muse of Brevard, NC and brother, O. Wayne King of Chesapeake, VA.

He was predeceased by brothers, J.D., Legree, Ernie, Lewis & Ralph King.
