The North Central High School Band traveled to James F. Byrnes High School in Duncan Oct. 23 to  participate in the South Carolina Band Directors Association (SCBDA) 1A Upper State Championship. The Marching Knights placed sixth overall securing a position at the SCBDA 1A State Finals which will be held Saturday at Batesburg-Leesville High School.
