Like a shot in basketball which never touches the rim before dropping through the net, Camden’s Ronnie Williams’ first hole in one never touched down on the grass of the green.
Williams hit nothing but the cup in recording his first ace during a Sunday round of golf played at the White Pines Golf Club in Camden.
With a 15-mile per hour wind in his face, Williams hit a 4-iron over the water on the 16th hole which was playing at 175 yards in length. The ball went straight into the hole without a bounce on the green.
Williams’ shot was witnessed by his playing partners, Danny Robinson and Dray Lloyd, both of Camden.
