Miss Emens, Mr. Cooper exchange vows

Casey Michelle Emens and Matthew Blake Cooper, both of Columbia, were married October 16, 2010, at Timberlake Country Club in Chapin. Rev. Knox Talbert officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at Timberlake Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Jim Emens of Columbia, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Donald Williamson of Lugoff and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Warren Emens of Chapin. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree in business management and a minor in dance. She will graduate in December from the University of South Carolina with a Master’s degree in public health policy.

The groom is the son of Tammy and Rick Fogle of Neeses, and Mr. and Mrs. Dariel Cooper of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson of Cordova, Cheryl Cooper and the late Carl Cooper of Orangeburg and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fogle of Neeses. He also attended the University of South Carolina and is playing professional baseball with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Bridesmaids were Lindsey Stoltz, Randi Newman, Kristyn Spitz and Brittany Robinson, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Ashlyn Anderson.

Groomsmen were Trent Emens, brother of the bride, Seth Cooper, brother of the groom, Adam Westmoreland and Judd Bolen, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Eli Clinton.

The couple will reside in Chapin.
