2012 Heritage Tea winners announced

On Sunday, February 19 in the Wood Auditorium of the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) awards were presented to Kershaw County students who participated in the 2012 Heritage Tea. Students in grades three through eight from across the county worked on projects reflective of cultural heroes and legends in celebration of Black History Month in an art project competition. Awards were presented to all winners and the teachers of 1st place winners. Entertainment was provided by the Lugoff Elementary Singers, Jackson School Chorus, Kershaw County Show Choir and Mrs. Shiryl Morgan. The judges for the competition were Althea ...
