Updated: March 19, 2012 5:00 a.m.

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor in the Kershaw County Farmers’ Market (KCFM) is invited to attend an open house at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at 634 W. Dekalb St. in Camden in the Homemakers Building, adjacent to the Camden Clemson Extension office.

This event is designed to provide SC growers and producers an opportunity to establish a new relationship, or strengthen an existing relationship with the KCFM. Vendors will also have the opportunity to: gain a better understanding of how the KCFM operates; hear about the upcoming 2012 KCFM calendar events; view the site map for the market; explore new and existing business opportunities at the KCFM; participate in discussion about ongoing and future vendor needs; and register on the KCFM vendor database or update existing vendor information.

South Carolina agricultural vendors as well as restaurants and artisans are encouraged to attend.
The KCFM operates Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon April 14 through Nov. 17.
