The Kershaw County Gamecock Club will hold a spring meeting on Monday, April 16 at the Old Towne Tavern (1044 Broad Street in Camden) at 6:30 p.m.
The guest speaker for this event will be University of South Carolina offensive line coach and Camden native, Shawn Elliott, who is scheduled to speak at 7 pm.
Elliott will share his thoughts on a variety of topics, including USC’s spring game which is to be played on Saturday, April 14.
Every Gamecock fan is welcome and guests do not have to be a member of the Gamecock Club to attend the event.  Cocky is also, tentatively, scheduled to be on hand for pictures and autographs.
The KCGC is selling tickets for the event for $5 each, which will include food provided by the Old South Restaurant of Elgin (while it lasts).
Persons with questions or would like to purchase tickets on the event may call Casey Robinson at (803) 669-0273. Tickets can also be purchased at the Old Towne Tavern or the BSL Sandwich Shop, located on Little Street in Camden. Only 100 tickets will be sold.
