Camden Elementary School students participated in a mock election for governor Oct. 19. Students received voter registration cards, were assigned to different precincts and placed their votes electronically in a real voting booth. Vincent Sheheen, the Democratic candidate, came out on top with 447 votes. Republican opponent Nikki Haley received 157 votes.
