Louise C. Proctor Hall, located at 2030 Lyttleton Street, Camden, will host a fashion show featuring bridal gowns and formal wear from Bella Vistas in Columbia. This event is the first of its kind for the hall. Louise C. Proctor Hall is a non-profit organization that provides a setting for any type of social event. Louise Proctor left the home to the ladies of Camden to provide them with a location for parties, weddings and meetings. Since the formation of the non-profit organization in 1957, the hall has been the setting for many weddings and local events.

“We decided we needed to do more to market the house and let people know it is available to the community. Having a fashion event that featured bridal wear was an obvious choice,” said Paula Woodlief, director of operations.

In addition to the fashion show, local vendors will be on hand to assist brides in planning their special day. Other participating business will include Roxie Hart, Willow House, Aberdeen Catery, Carolina Cakes, and Decadent Dish.

“Other vendors will be included; we are still finalizing our vendor list,” said Woodlief.

The event will take place April 28 beginning at noon. Tickets are available at Bella Vistas or Roxie Harts. You may also purchase tickets on site. Tickets are $10 for members of Louise C. Proctor Hall and $15 for non members. To participate as a vendor or for more information, call Woodlief at 425-8332.
