Penny sales tax commission begins work

The Kershaw County Capital Sales Tax Commission hashed out preliminary details on the future of county recreation during its initial meeting Thursday. Kershaw County Council created the commission March 27 to investigate the possible formulization of a penny sales tax to fund recreational projects in the community.
