Anthem, prayer missing from graduation

Regarding graduation high school class 2012 in Camden, S.C. and all the other schools in the state: I attended the affair and was appalled that there was no prayer or that the National Anthem was not played. I know that some think they can’t have prayer because of the law. The way I see it, someone has to be brave enough to stand up to the law and be willing to take the consequence. I know that there may be a few that would complain about having a prayer, but I assure you that there are 10 times and more who would love to see someone with enough courage take a stand. We can get a good example from the Bible when we read about Paul and how much he suffered for the cause of Christ. I don’t believe in trying to force my opinions on other people, but if there are people coming to these events, and they know they don’t like to hear a prayer, then let them be sure to bring some ear plugs or stay away altogether.
