Miss Nye, Mr. DuBose plan fall wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dean Watson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Anne Nye of Irmo, to John Kennedy DuBose, III of Camden, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kennedy DuBose, Jr. of Camden.

The couple met during orientation on their first day of work at the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office in 2005.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Driggers Turnipseed of Columbia and the late Dr. and Mrs. Dewey F. Nye of Myrtle Beach. She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is currently Counsel to the Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court, the Honorable Jean Hoefer Toal.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dr. Ernest Arch Perry and the late Mrs. Margaret Darwin Perry of Clover, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kennedy DuBose of Waycross, Georgia. He is a graduate of The College of William and Mary, the University of  South Carolina School of Law, and Vermont Law School. He is currently a partner at the law firm, DuBose-Robinson, P.C. of Camden and Columbia.

A November 2012 wedding is planned at Trenholm Road United Methodist Church in Columbia with a reception following at the South Carolina Lace House.
