Another 'good ole boy' lawsuit

Well let’s get these ridiculous and embarrassing law suits going again. Get them back on course! They are such a good use for our country’s image and above all, a great way to spend our tax dollars. Our county needed a sheriff change and now that Jim Matthews has become our sheriff and seems to be doing all the right things for all of us, he seems to have upset our country’s “good ole boys.”

The latest “good ole boy” to sue our sheriff is the ex-chief magistrate. This is the fifth lawsuit and this one is $4 million! This one must be extra special! Is there something else going on that we do not know about? And if there is, tell us! Is Sheriff Matthews a bad man? If he is, then prove it to us! Could it be that since filling the sheriff’s position that he is just doing a good job? Maybe he is doing his job like it is supposed to be done, thus getting under the skin of the past tense “good ole boys.” He is upsetting their ways, soon to be past ways of common dishonesty and disloyalty.

When Jim Matthews first pledged to run for our sheriff, I am sure he was warned of these “good ole boys.” He was told of a corrupt courthouse in Kershaw County. He was warned of how he would not fit in with the present no-goodness of our law enforcement and the problems with the current judges and magistrates. He was told of all these things, yet he still wanted to run. He won the hearts and votes of the many who wanted to change all the above. As Matthews progressed into the sheriff’s role, he did nothing but tell the truth and try to straighten up a few things. What more could we ask for? We now see this positiveness and how it has reflected good towards the majority of Kershaw County citizens. But what is really funny is to witness how doing the right thing has made these “good ole boys” pouting mad. Could their clubhouse finally be falling apart?

The big problem here is that these “good ole boys” are pouting on our tax dollars! Let’s get them a swing set and a sandbox with a security fence around it. How immature can this possibly get! $12 million can buy a heck of a playground and I believe that at this price a rubber ducky can be included!

I believe these lawsuits are going way too far. Is telling the truth considered defamation of character? Most of us agree with our sheriff. You can not damage the reputation of someone who has done that to themselves. Their reputation is already ruined by the beholder. These people who are suing known as the plaintiffs, are used up, washed up, and do not fit in our corrected society any longer. If I were them, I would look in the mirror, laugh at myself, hang my embarrassed and unethical head down and just simply give up. Go home!

Please everyone, let us all find a way to rid of these suing pursuers. There are more good folds than bad ones. Can we all get together? What helps us along with our Sheriff Matthews is that we are all ethical, the exact opposite of his pursuing suers. We know this and we feel good! Facts are facts!!!
