Changes coming to KCSD with NCLB waiver

The U.S. Department of Education approved a waiver Thursday for South Carolina to be exempted from certain provisions of the state’s version of the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) program. Now, school districts, including the Kershaw County School District (KCSD), must figure out how to deal with the changes the waiver allows them to make.
