LaVada Parker Watson, 91, widow of Gordon W. Watson, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Karesh Long Term Care Center in Camden.

Born in Fairfield County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse W. Parker and the late Pearl Baker Parker. Mrs. Watson was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden. She was the former owner of Pine Burr Antiques and Interiors.

Survivors include a sister, Inez Parker Rush of Camden; a sister-in-law, Aileen Parker of Camden; a brother-in-law, John Ensign of Camden; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Parker Ensign; and three brothers, J.W. Parker, Jr., Ernest J. "Jiggs" Parker, and Delma W. Parker.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Camden with the Rev. Bruce Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday at First Baptist Church.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Karesh Long Term Care Center for their loving care and support.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1201 Broad St., Camden, SC 29020.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
