Mrs. Rosa Mae Shannon McQuillar died on July 12, 2012. Her funeral was held on July 18, 2012. She was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church and active on numerous church organizations.

She leaves behind a husband, Deacon Abraham McQuillar, five children and their spouses, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
