Monologues performance Tuesday

“Voices of Camden: The Quarrel with Oneself,” the popular Tony Scully workshop in writing and performing dramatic monologues, is back on the stage of the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) for the eighth time. The performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday  in the Wood Auditorium.

In addition to Scully, writer-performers include veteran monologists Norm McAbee, Kathryn Rogers Bellamy, Jessica Zeller, Ann Hagan, Joe Boyce, “Marilyn Malice” (Myasha Roberts), Zach Parker, Roslyn Morrow, Douglas Wyant and Chip Summers.  This year’s participants range in age from 15 to 82.

Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information call 425-7676 extension 300 or visit the FAC website at www.fineartscenter.org. The FAC  is located at 810 Lyttleton St. in Camden. Box office hours are Monday through Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The Fine Arts Center is funded in part by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation and the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional funding provided by the City of Camden, Kershaw County, and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina along with donations from businesses and individuals.
