Elgin man named as suspect in Columbia shooting

An Elgin man ended up in the hospital after being shot the morning of Aug. 14 by S.C. Highway Patrol (SCHP) troopers in Columbia following a chase on I-20 that ended in Columbia’s Five Points district.
