Elgin man arrested in connection with kidnapping Richland County teen

May be connected to disappearance of Florida woman

Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) deputies charged an Elgin man Tuesday with kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of a 15-year-old Richland County girl. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott identified the man as Freddie Grant, 52, of Kelly Road, in the town of Elgin.
