Spartans run to a second place finish at O’burg Prep XC meet

Another event, another improved finish. For the third time in as many starts, the Camden Military Academy cross-country team improved on its previous race. Tuesday, John Heflin’s runners finished tied for second in an 11-team meet hosted by Orangeburg Prep. The Spartans finished with 79 points and tied with Orangeburg-Wilkinson for second behind Wilson Hall, which had 53 points. South Aiken Baptist was next with 112.
