Armed robber steals money from Elgin store

An man armed with a semi-automatic weapon entered the Dollar General in Elgin just before 8 p.m. Sept. 27, demanding money. The Elgin Police Department (EPD) and Crimestoppers are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.
