The S.C. Supreme Court placed Camden City Attorney Charles Cushman on interim suspension Friday, suspending his license to practice law in the state of South Carolina until further notice. Camden City Council voted to place Cushman, who also acted as the city’s municipal court prosecutor, on unpaid administrative leave Sept. 20, one day after he turned himself in to the Kershaw County Detention Center on misconduct in office charges.
