Phone scammer impersonating KCSO

  In recent weeks, at least one Kershaw County resident reported receiving several telephone calls from someone claiming they were from the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). The caller advised the resident that the KCSO had warrants for her arrest for bad checks and that she needed to send money to clear up the situation.
