Mr. Vaida, husband of the late Ruth Belton Vaida died Monday, October 8, 2012 at KershawHealth. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Louis Vaida Sr. and Lucille Babiak Vaida.

Surviving are his daughters, Debbie Branham (Don) of Lugoff, Peggy Nevitt of Lugoff and Gloria Vaida of Camden; sisters, Maryann Burney, Rosemary Giampietro, Janie DiFranco, Diane Kish and Margie Johnson; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Freebird.
