Career criminal arrested for passing thousands in fraudulent checks

  A career criminal with a 13-page criminal record is currently in the Kershaw County Detention Center (KCDC) after Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) investigators arrested him for defrauding the Pilot gas station in Lugoff of $3,400. According to a KCSO press release, Keith Jerome Mobley, 45, was arrested on four warrants charging him with fraud after investigators determined that he had cashed four corporate checks while providing false authorization numbers to store clerks. ...
