A graveside funeral service for Elizabeth "Beth" Rowe Canada will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 3, 2012 at Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Patterson, Jr. and the Rev. David Weaver will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service at the Family Life Center of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member and a former Sunday school teacher.

Beth died on November 30, 2012. She was born in Sumter on November 27, 1936. Her parents were Aletha "Tot" Walker Rowe and Carl O. Rowe.

She was a graduate of Limestone College, and prior to her marriage, she taught in the Charleston area for several years. Her favorite pastime was gardening, and she was never happier than when working in her yard.

In addition to her husband of 47 years, C.C. Canada, she is survived by two sons, Carrington Shaw "Cash" Canada and his wife Kimberly, and Walker Player Canada and his wife Liz; one brother, Carl O. Rowe, Jr., and his wife Diane; and one granddaughter, Katherine Vivian Canada.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020 or to Kershaw Health Hospice, 124 Battleship Road, Camden, SC 29020 or the charity of one’s choice-803-425-1916.

The family would like to thank Kershaw Health Hospice for the love and care which they always expressed.
