A 55-year-old woman died at Kershaw Medical Center on Saturday evening after a single-car collision on U.S. 1 and Campbell Street in Camden. Michelle Ludy was trapped in the passenger side seat for an "extended amount of time" after her husband, Mike Ludy, ran their vehicle off the road and struck a tree near Rite Aid Pharmacy around 7:30 p.m., according to Kershaw County Coroner Johnny Fellers.
