Sheheen concludes state board of education term

Rose Sheheen has spent her life in education and supporting educators. Sheheen taught elementary and middle school and SEAGUL for eight years and was a principal at Blaney Elementary School for 14 years before becoming a district-level employee in Kershaw County. Despite her long-term stint as a school and district administrator, Sheheen always thought of herself as a teacher even, she said, if it was the “boss-teacher or the chief-teacher.”
