Michael Arnez Richards, Sr. was called home to be with our Lord and Saviour on Thursday, January 3, 2013, in Conyers, Georgia. Michael born on March 8, 1956, in Camden, South Carolina to Mrs. Elease K. Richards and the late Norman “Tee” Richards, Sr.

Upon completion of high school, Michael relocated to Washington, DC, and shortly after, married Roberta Adams. Michael became employed with the US Reserve Board in Washington, DC and received his police training from the Federal Law Enforcement Academy in Glynco, Georgia. This training lead Michael’s employment as a United Stated Capitol Hill Policeman. Michael continued his training at the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Quantico, Virginia. He served over twenty years with the federal government in tha Washington, DC area.

He cherish his memories, Michael leaves his mother, Elease K. Richards; four children, Monique A. Richards, Michael A Richards, Jr., Andrea Mapp and Johnathan Davis; his siblings, N. “Rickanthony” Richards, Jr.,Theresa R. Harris, Marcella Hunt, Marion Richards; seven grandchildren, Ariana M. Richards, Briana I. Cowart, Antionio Price and Hanna Barnes, Jivione Davis, Jaylen Davis and Jonathan Michael Davis; his wife, Regina A. Richards; six aunts, Juanita Roberts (Richard), Earlline Peterson (Charles), Janie Harrison (John), Jessie Mae Richards, Barbara B. Richards, and Alice Richards.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Camden First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be sent at http://www.hailesfuneralhome.com/.
