King Haiglar Garden Club meeting on Monday

The King Haiglar Garden Club will meet Monday at 3:30 p.m. Marguerite Glasgow will host at 301 Kings Chase, Camden. Nancy Carlson and Virginia Isler will cohost the gathering.

An informative program will be presented by Woodley Garden Center. The arrangement theme for February is "Flowers say Love." Members are reminded to bring horticulture specimens from their gardens. Please have the specimens in place by 3:15 p.m. for judging.

Judges this month are Margie Lane, Frances Hendix, Michelle Herod, and Ellen Vaughn.

February garden maintenance volunteers are Judy Smith and Harriet Thomas.

February Garden Tips

Feed Pansies and keep dead-headed to encourage new blooms.

Move Perennials

Trim or mow ornamental grass.

Divide if necessary.

Start seeds of warm season vegetables indoors.

Flowers of the month: Violet

Vegetable of the month: Squash

Herb of the month: Rosegeranium
