L-EWA approves clearwell repair project during meeting

The Lugoff-Elgin Water Authority (L-EWA) board unanimously approved a $150,192 repair project at the authority’s water treatment plant during its meeting Thursday. The project calls for improvements to a leaking clearwell tank, which would involve repairs of pits and holes, sandblasting, and recoating the tank inside and out.
