Sporting clays tourney benefits Ronald McDonald House of Columbia

The seventh annual McDonald’s of Camden Sporting Clays Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 6 at Hermitage Farm Shooting Sports in Camden. The event benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Columbia.
The competition will begin at noon and continue until 3 p.m.
Pre-registration is currently taking place and forms may be obtained by logging onto and clicking on News, Events and Campaigns.
The cost is $125 per shooter and $500 per four-shooter team. A discount for students and members of the military is $100 per shooter and $400 per team.
A variety of sponsorship options are available ranging from $100 for a station sponsor to $5,000 for the presenting sponsor. Shooters may check in on the day of the event beginning at 10 a.m. Registration will continue until 11:30 a.m.
Teams will rotate through 14 sporting clay stations. All participants will receive a gift package, ammo, food and beverages.  Additionally, there will be raffle prize drawings and a silent auction with hundreds of outdoor-realated items up for bid during the day.
In 2012, more than 75 shooters took part in this event and helped to raise more than $19,000. This year, the goal is to raise more than $20,000 to benefit the children and families served by the Ronald McDonal House of Columbia.
