Mary Ramseur Lindsay

A memorial service celebrating the life of Mary Ramseur Lindsay, 84, of Camden, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Grace Episcopal Church in Camden. Rev. James Barnhill will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Lindsay’s memory to Grace Episcopal Church, 1315 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020 or Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders, Association-Mid-State-SC, 3223 Sunset Blvd. Suite 100, W. Columbia, SC 29169.

Mary Ramseur Lindsay, widow of William Shannon Lindsay, died Friday, February 22, 2013. She was born in Lincoln Co., NC, the daughter of the late Mary McMillian and Fredrick Henry Ramseur. Mrs. Lindsay was a retired school teacher and co-owner of the Clothes Tree in Camden. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. Mrs. Lindsay and her sister, Dr. Nancy Ranseur co-authored the book "Where to Find Tomorrow".

Mrs. Lindsay is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gregory A. (Sarah) Wise of Alexandria, VA, sons, William Shannon Lindsay, Jr. (Anne) of Beaufort, SC and Patrick Nelson Lindsay (Heather) of Camden; 11 grandchildren.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
