CHS, L-E meet in tourney finale

For the first time in many a year, the crack of the bat will replace the pinging of the bat in the Kershaw-Richland Classic Wooden Bat Spring Break Baseball Tournament which opens today and run through Thursday.
The four-day event kicks off  this afternoon at American Legion Park in Camden with three doubleheaders before Thursday’s final day will be played at Richland Northeast High School.
The Camden portion of the bracket features Olean (N.Y.) High School, coached by former USC pitcher Matt Threehouse, Wilson High, Lugoff-Elgin and Camden.
Here is the three-day schedule for American Legion Park:

Monday: 5 p.m. – Lugoff-Elgin vs. Olean; 7:30 p.m. – Camden vs. Wilson
Tuesday: 5 p.m. – Lugoff-Elgin vs. Wilson; 7:30 p.m. – Camden vs. Olean
Wednesday:  2:30 p.m. – Wilson vs. Olean; 5 p.m. – Camden vs. Lugoff-Elgin junior varsity; 7:30 p.m. – Camden vs. Lugoff-Elgin
