County Council to hear public presentation from CMP

Tuesday’s Kershaw County Council meeting will include a public presentation from Carolina Motorsports Park’s (CMP) Brian Smith. CMP also gave a presentation at a recent Camden City Council meeting.

Other items on the agenda include:

• A second reading of an ordinance to amend the county’s zoning map designations for tax parcel #307-00-00-022 for Claude Campbell from RD-2 to R-15 and the designation for tax parcel #307-00-00-078 for Claude Campbell from MRD-1 and RD-2 to R-15;

• A second reading of an ordinance to amend the Unified Code of Zoning and Land Development Regulations;

• A resolution in support of Congressional 1130 Actions Relook of Silver Star Award for Maj. William P. Collier;

• Kershaw County Safety Policy Manual;

• Kershaw County Welcome Center;

• Zoning Board of Appeals;

• ATAX Committee;

Discussion of setting timetable for new appointments of Hospital Trustees as well as other issues; and

• Columbia Area Transit Study (COATS).

Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Kershaw County Government Center. Council meetings are open to the public.
